Cedars Parents is a forum of parents and carers that started in September 2016. All parents and carers are welcome to attend the Cedars Parents meetings and become elected members. This is your chance to get involved in your child’s school life and share your views so please come along to our drop-in meetings!

Our 3 principal aims are:

  • To improve communication between parents and carers, school staff and governors;

  • To provide a confidential forum for parents and carers to raise concerns, issues and suggestions for improvement relating to school life;

  • To act as a ‘Critical Friend’ of the school by working closely with the Leadership Group and reporting regularly on our progress to the School Governors.

The Parent Council can report several achievements to date including the new primary uniform,  the new academic school calendar, fundraising events, improvements to transport safety and home/school communication.         

Our meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month (during term-time) in the School Lodge on a drop-in basis and school provides childcare and refreshments for all parents/carers who attend.
